Actors are not objects; they’re human too

Recently, a well-known actor was in the news for throwing away a fan’s cell phone when the latter attempted to click his snap. The media wasted no time in highlighting the incident. It set me thinking.
Why do we treat actors as objects? Their human like us working hard to provide for their families. When the arc lights are off, their job is over. They have as much as the freedom and liberty to carry on normal lives as much as we have when we finish our jobs and go home.
Do we expect a doctor who has just closed his clinic to treat patients on the road? Do we expect a lawyer who is tired after a hard day’s work in the court to stand up in the middle of the road and take up cases? Then why do we expect actors do entertain us all the time?
Why do fans and media hound them wherever they go? Just because they are entertainers does not mean they have no right to live their own personal moments. We never know what they could be going through at any particular point of time.
They are as human as you and me and not objects. So, let’s not treat them as one.
And,if you are really a true fan, the biggest and greatest gift you can give your favourite star is -- Their Freedom to live and enjoy a normal life as you and I do.
